The sequel to last years hit Halloween revival has begun filming and while we don't know much about the plot at present, what we do know is that there are a few returning cast members from the 1978 original.
It's been no secret that Jamie Lee Curtis had signed on to, once again, play PTSD suffering Laurie Strode but over the fast few months it was revealed that Kyle Richards who played 'little' Lindsey Wallace would be returning as a grown up version of her character from John Carpenters Original. She is to be joined by Anthony Michael Hall (National Lampoon's Vacation, The Breakfast Club) as the equally grown up Tommy Doyle. Why Original Actor, Brian Andrews isn't returning to the Tommy role remains a mystery.
Now, the latest, returning cast member to be announced is Nancy Stephens as Nurse Marion Chambers who, if you remember, accompanied Dr Loomis (Donald Pleasence) as he drove to Smiths Grove Asylum, before having Michael steal their car and escape.
Her character eventually met a grisly end, at the hands of Michael Myers in 1998's Halloween H20. As the new series of films ignore all the sequels that followed Halloween 1978, her death in that movie doesn't count, meaning her return is completely plausible.
Danny McBride, David Gordon Green and Scott Teems, co-Wrote the script with Gordon Green, once again on Directing duty.
Halloween Kills is released 16th October 2020 and its follow up, Halloween Ends is released the following year.
