For The Love Of Horror Convention.

Updated: Nov 16, 2019

It's now less than a month until For the Love of Horror kicks off at the Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Manchester and it promises to be a great one. The event is taking place over the weekend of the 19th and 20th of October and the last I heard, it was almost sold out.

There is some great guests including Kane Hodder in costume as Jason Voorhees, Bill Moseley, Tobin Bell, Shawnee Smith and Costas Mandylor. The Convention also boasts the biggest Lost Boys reunion in the UK as it welcomes Kiefer Sutherland, Alex Winter, Jason Patric, Jamison Newlander, Billy Wirth and Chance Michael Corbitt and all under one roof.

Sadly the horror community lost the legendary Sid Haig recently. Sid should have been attending the weekend, but For The Love of Horror have decided to honour his memory by keeping Sid's table open. There will, from what I understand, be a book of condolences for people to sign which is a lovely idea.

Aside from the awesome guests, there is a recreation of the funfair from The Lost Boys, a Scare Maze, a Ghost Hunt, and many amazing Trade Stalls.

The event also hosts an afterparty with live performances from C Tom Mac (Cry Little Sister) and Tim Cappello (I Still Believe), both from The Lost Boys as well as the band Blue Harvest. Tickets for the event and afterparty are available from
